Helsinki-Vantaa Airport has continued its steady recovery in 2025. Between January and August, the airport welcomed around 10 million travelers, showing a 5 % increase compared to last year.
The first half of the year grew month by month, reaching over 1.6 million passengers in July and 1.4 million passengers in August.
Most travelers – nearly nine out of ten – flew on international routes, while domestic travel saw a slight decline.
Overall, the trend confirms that Helsinki-Vantaa Airport is strengthening its role as Finland’s main international hub, with stable travel demand and a broader route network.
