The TFWA World Exhibition & Conference held last week in Cannes (1-5 October 2023), garnered remarkable attention, with a substantial increase in attendance.
Attendance in numbers in 2023:
2.761 buyers and landlords (15% more than the previous record number in 2019)
7,375 visitors (23% growth compared to 2022; record 7,531 in 2019)
With more exhibitor space, buyers and landlords than ever before, the 2023 edition of Duty Free & Travel Retail’s Global Summit showed an industry with renewed momentum. From Sunday evening’s Opening Cocktail to a packed Conference auditorium, Exhibition aisles teeming with life, well-attended workshops, exciting innovations at TFWA i.lab and after-hours networking in the TFWA Lounge, the pace was relentless.
TFWA President Erik Juul-Mortensen commented: “We thought that the mood was great at TFWA World Exhibition & Conference 2022, but the atmosphere this year has reached another level.
